    Gunnite - Before and After

    Started the refinish last fall and just got water in two days ago. My first (and hopefully last!) refinish.

    Another contender for a Cinderella Award in the Slime to Sparkle contest!
    16K freeform gunite with spa; Pentair 4000 DE filter; Century Whisperflow 1 HP; Pentair Minimax heater.
    Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
    A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!

    great job!
    14'x28' vinyl liner inground 3.5-6' deep wedge hopper 15000 gal (used to say 13000- I calculated wrong), 1 hp pump with sand filter, 2 returns, 1 fountain, traditional chlorinated, pool house.

    Thanks to all for the kind comments. It was an unbelievable amount of hard work for an old man with no prior experience, but I think it was worth the effort.
