Hi All,
This is Day 2 of trying to adjust the pool balance; yesterday I added stabilizer so that I could get the chlorine at a good, more or less stable level. Thankfully, this morning, FC was at 3.5 and CYA at 38. But my concern now is a combination of low pH and high TA. Here are the numbers:
FC: 3.5
CC: .5
TC: 3
pH: 7.0
TA: 175
CH: 230
CYA: 38
Temp: 78F
I've read on Pool School about aeration, but it also seems to suggest that with a high TA, the pH level will also tend to rise (on its own?). Can anyone suggest a good way to get the pH up to norm, and the TA down?
best,
David
