Baking Soda

I need to add 5 lbs of baking soda and have never done this. Where do I put it. In skimmer or broadcast around pool?

I broadcast baking soda in the deep end.

I always mix it in a bucket of pool water and pour it in front of a return.

Another vote for broadcast. But if its pretty windy, i'll mix it in a bucket like bama.

Skimmer for everything except acid for me....that includes baking soda.

The only reason I posted was to let you know that there are many ways to accomplish the same goal. Using common sense, you almost always have some flexibility on how you add your chemistry.
