Leslie's never ceases to amaze

I stopped taking advice from Leslie's long ago, but as they are the only game in town, I sometimes drop in to buy things.

Today I needed two things. The CYA test regent and Borates test strips.

Me: "Where do you keep the CYA test regent?"
Leslie's Guy: "Oh we don't carry that regent."

Me: "Okay, do you carry test strips for Borates?"
Leslie's Guy: "What are borates?"

I wouldn't expect that virtually any pool store would have borate strips. I am surprised that Leslies wouldn't have CYA reagent, though.
