Eyeball positioning

So this is probably a no brainer but I need to ask any way. I have one return outlet in our 24" round pool. Is there a best way to have it positioned? I needed to move it and I'm not sure if I can get it back to exactly where it had been placed. Debris would round up in the middle making it easy to clean up but I don't know if that's best for water circulation.

Most on here recommend to have it pointed away from the skimmer and down at an angle. I put mine between horizontal and vertical, opposite the skimmer. Does that make sense? I can't think of a better way to explain right now, so I hope this helps!

Sounds good. I'm assuming you mean pointing down below the horizontal line?? I'm probably way over thinking this!

Yep, down below. You're not the only one over thinking it! I'm racking my brain trying to find a better way to explain it!

It's all good. I just wanted to make sure things are at their optimum. You can stop racking the brain. Sounds like that might hurt!
