Help with Placido Polaris....

Yes, I named him Placido (any Phillies fan will know why).

A couple questions:

1: What does the tail really do? A friend says his swings back and forth pretty good. Mine just seems to drag behind.

2: The back wheel doesn't seem to touch the bottom sometimes. Almost like it's floating up. I know it cycles and floats sometimes but that's not when it's doing it.

3: Is he supposed to travel up the walls a little? He seems to be moving good and then get stuck in the corner.

I have the pump running at 1900. I tested the rpm on the wheels at this is more than enough power according to the manual.

BTW, it's a Polaris 360

I don't have a polaris and know little about them, but I do know the tail should whip around (my parents have one) and it should climb the walls. You've got a problem, and hopefully someone who can help will contribute!

make sure the head float is push all the way in, the thrust jet is in the 11'o'clock postition, and loosen the screw on the tail to get it to move more

Thanks DBfan. I did check the thrust jet and it was positioned correctly. I will check the head float and the screw on the tail this evening. I'm assuming it's the allen head screw?

yup, I just use my fingers or pliers most of the time though
