I know I got this heater to heat my pool. But I see settings on my EasyTouch that state you can have your ThermoFlo cool also. It is a heat pump so can it run in revers and actually act as a chiller and cool the water? Been having a very hot summer and water is sitting consistently around 85-87 degrees with nothing running and no cover.

Some, but not all, models do indeed have the ability to run "backwards" and cool the pool. Pentair says that you can tell if your model has this ability by pressing the MENU SELECT button on the heater repeatedly and watching to see if the Heat / Cool / Auto mode selection screen is displayed.
