    pump confused

My pump is leaking from the motor side and I thought I knew what I was going to buy.... since I have a superpump 2610X15, at least that's what one of the stickers says, but then I noticed that the motor doesn't say hayward, it's a AO Smith UST1152. Is it the same pump just rebranded by hayward? Can I use the kit I was going to buy? If not, where can I get a kit for it?

Hayward uses AO Smith motors, I had to replace the motor on my single speed 1.5HP Hayward Super Pump a couple of months ago, the replacement was an AO Smith UST1152

The kit you quoted will work. Regardless of who made the motor, they have to conform to the frame standard, so parts that fit one mfg's motor will fit anothers.
