All my pool numbers test right on with my TF-100. My CYA is at 40 but has been growing week to week. I started the season low at 12 and have been able to treat it to get to 20. I have been using the 3 in triclor pucks for chlorination .. so I know it is adding some CYA. Over about 2 or 3 weeks it has rissen to 40. At what point should I be concerned?

You should be concerned about now. In CT. 40 is probably about as much CYA as you want. You could let it go to 50 but have a plan after that.

How did you get those numbers?
With a CYA of 35 your FC is too low and needs to be brought up immediately. You also need to do an overnight chlorine loss test to be sure you're not losing FC to organics.

Got the numbers using the FT-100 kit. As you know, the CYA test is a bit subjective. I shocked the pool last night and will check FC later today to see if it came back up.
