IC40 30 day wait time for new pools

does anyone know if I can start my IC40 SWG before the 30 day wait time shown on page 17 of the user's guide? I have Rev G of the manual. Perhaps there has been a change in the manual.

That suggestion is really only for a gunnite pool. According to your sig, you have a vinyl pool. Nothing wrong with adding salt and using it with vinyl.

Yep, what bk406 said. With a plaster pool you are not supposed to add salt for the first 30 days after fresh plaster/pebble is applied, which is where the waiting period comes from. With a vinyl pool you can add salt right away, so no wait.
