pool light goes off and on - then finally stays on

Hello...

As the subject line says, our pool light goes off and on - then finally stays on after a while... I'm hoping it might just be something wrong with the GFI receptacle near the pool filter.... has anybody experienced this ??

It'd probably help the light experts to know which light you have. Post that and anything else you think is relavent and hopefully you'll get the answer.
