I assume you'll take the pool down before winter. If so, will the deck and slide and stuff stay up, or what is the plan there?

i really havent decided on whether to leave it up or take it down for the winter. our winters here in south ga are not very cold and we only have short periods of freezing temps then the temp rises pretty quickly so i'm still debating that question. however the deck and slide will remain up and i'm going to treat the deck in the winter again with the thompson water seal.

I'm looking into getting a deck done for next year

believe me, its totally worth it! my pool stays clean because people, especially kids, cant track dirt into the pool because the only way in and out of the pool is via the deck. not to mention the different things you can do from a deck such as the slide i mounted on the deck and if nothing else just sitting out by the pool!   :whoot:52859.jpg[/attachment:ei58haq6]62663.jpg[/attachment:ei58haq6]73203.jpg[/attachment:ei58haq6]

Great pics! Where did you find the slide? I am looking to add a slide from my top deck down to the pool.....I bought 2 regular slides but they are not wide enough for adult bottoms and I don't like the lack of sides on them......cuz we are looking at at least a 10' drop!

thanks for the comments. the pic is of the old slide from last year. i got it at amazon. however the kids wanted more! so this year i found a 10ft slide at lowes. the kids LOVE IT! if you have any reservations about using a playground slide...DONT WORRY! i have had no problems at all. just be sure to secure it at the top and bottom. here is some pics of the bigger slide....24804.jpg[/attachment:1a6cy08p]97944.jpg[/attachment:1a6cy08p]53240.jpg[/attachment:1a6cy08p]
