    Changing Plug Voids Warranty?

Does changing the plug end on a pump from blade style to twist lock style void the warranty? Pump is a Hayward Powerflo Matrix.

    Thanks!

As I understand it, it may very well. The back plates are different since the twist lock cord is thicker. HAyward knows which of it's serial numbers are twist and which are NEMA plugged units.

I'd suggest calling Hayward customer support and asking them. Be sure to keep a record of the conversation and the name of anyone you speak to.
