Waterfall causing pH to rise

I read in Pool School that aeration causes pH to rise. I have a spa attached to my pool that 'waterfalls' into the pool at all times the pump is running. Does this mean that I will be constantly battling with my pH to keep it down or will having the proper TA levels help keep my pH under control even with the waterfall.

It is nearly always possible to adjust things so that the PH is stable. The only exceptions are almost always pools with really massive amount of aeration. A simple spa overflow isn't usually much of a problem, though it might take a little fiddling before the PH stabilizes.
