water behind vinyl liner

What's the best way to get rid of any water behind the liner?
If I pump it out, what is the best way to get the liner edge back in the track, since it slips down some from the weight of the water?

Welcome to TFP!

We need more details to give you a specific answer. Water behind the liner will go away eventually, possibly quite slowly, as long as the ground water level is lower than the pool water level. Sometimes it is best to pump it out, other times to allow it to go away on it's own.

The liner will stretch back into place if you work on it on a warm enough day. Getting it into the track is mostly brute force and inserting it at the correct angle. Then you will need to lock it into place with either pennies or liner lock or something similar. If the liner is several years old there is some risk of tearing, but if it is relatively new it should be fairly safe.
