I've been think about something that i have noticed over the past couple of years when opeing my pool. I usually open to a mess, easily cleared with BBB, so what i usually do is drop the pH to around 7.2 to shock the Crud outa it and leave it around 7.2 until my CC FC holds overnight. THEN i usually have a cloudy pool pump/filter 24/7. What i "think" i have noticed is that if i only rise the pH to around 7.4 or so it will stay cloudy much longer then if i take it to 7.6-7.7. I "think" that once i hit 7.6 or so my filter needs to be backwashed more often and the pool clears much quicker. Now i could just be making all this up in m yhead, but is there anything to this?
