I have a day off, but us old farts get up early anyway, so I started vacuuming the pool. I wasted an awful lot of time trying to vacuum a shadow.

I think next time I'll skim the surface before I start vacuuming.

I've vacuumed a few shadows too. Pretty funny once it moves and you figure out what it was!

Grumpy old man, DH, and this old fartette sleep as late as possible. We are both night people and usually don't have dinner til after 2200. He leaves for work at 1000. The morning, each week, we have to get up at 0530 to get him to the airport are "killers" for both of us as it is hard to go to sleep early enough.

I do love the early a.m., though, but also love the late p.m. and don't really start functioning well until the afternoon, after a very big, strong cup of coffee, followed by a very big, strong cup of black and green tea. I usually get to enjoy the early a.m. when I stay up all night.
