We have a TINY yard with no access to it unkless you go through the house. We had someone level the yard he used rocks last year we racked what we could used happy bottom and tarp but could still feel the rocks. We did get 2 small holes in the bottom. I need to put something stronger under it this year I was thinking of that fake crass carpet stuff I'm just not sure that will work I'm in need of ideas for this year.

I recommend sand tamped well, then gorilla bottom, then happy bottom. The sand will blanket the rocks and the gorilla bottom is tougher than the happy bottom against punctures and the happy bottom will give you a soft feel.
I have been using 2" stryrofoam (the pink stuff) under my pools for years. It protects the bottom, insulates the pool from the ground, keeps the pool cleaner and give a nice feel to the bottom.
