Fair numbers but cloudy pool (UPDATED WITH PICS)

Re: Fair numbers but cloudy pool

Question.

Pool is clear.

Overnight FC gone from 44 to 33 with 0.5 CC. Remember CYA around 65.

Does the shocking regimen still hold up when the FC is this high. By pool school rules I have dropped more than 1ppm overnight and should add bleach but I am still well above shock level. Is the TF-100 FC test still accurate to 1 ppm at these levels?

In other words what should I do now?

Thank you.

Yes, and should test accurately up to 50ppm

I suggest you maintain shock level and do another overnight test.

.....Don't know how I overshot so far but hopefully no harm done. Sure ought to kill a few algae.

Kinda reminds me of the old Butch Cassidy movie. "...think you used enough dynamite there Butch?"
   Loved that movie!

I even replaced a burned out light via instructions found on this forum.

Thanks for everyone's help.
