Former Nature2 user with questions about adding borates

I had a new Nature2 cartridge each year for the last 2 years. I removed my spent cartridge at the end of last season and have not purchased a new one yet. I'm just running the pool water through the empty Nature2 housing.

I have been reading about adding borates to my pool, but I am concerned about my previous use of the Nature2. I have read somewhere that the Nature2 adds silver and copper to the water, which are incompatible with borates. Can someone please help me figure out if it's OK to add borates to my pool?

Pool data:
21000 gallons
Concrete/Plaster
Aquapure SWCG system
Recent test data:
FC: 3.9
TC: 4.3
pH: 7.4
TA: 121
CH: 225

Thanks,
Doug

Welcome to TFP!

Silver and copper are fine with borates. What you do need to watch out for is anything that raises the PH too high, at least if your silver or copper levels are actually significant. Nature2 tends to only add just a little silver/copper, not usually enough to cause problems with high PH.
