Party vers Borates

Hi everyone, I am having a pool party this weekend, And i was wondering if i could add borates to the pool today and not take a chance of anything going wrong as in getting cloudy or milky? Or should i want until the party is over?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I just did it last weekend, and had no problems. It could not have been easier. I used borax and MA, just dumped them in like the sticky says, mixed, and the pH came out just about perfectly. I could see problems occurring if the pH was way off at the end and you didn't check it, but I think you should be fine

As long as you have more than 24 hours left, I say go for it. When using borax and muriatic acid you want to give the PH 24 hours to stabilize before you make any final adjustments. As long as you have time for that, you should be fine.
