    Have you tried this SWG?

    This looks inexpensive, but does that mean it's cheap?
    13,500 Wilkes Vinyl AG (15'x30' rectangular)
    Hayward Power-Flo LX SP1580, 1HP
    Hayward S-160T High Rate Sand Filter

    I looked at similar items and most had poor reviews...IMHO, if you are on a budget, best bang for your buck is an intex SWG...similar to this one

    If you do a search on ChlorEase you will see it has come up several times. The most through discussion was here. The overall impression I got was that it worked, but most people who tried one ended up switching to something else after a while.
