Repair vacuum hose end?

The swivel end of a 45 foot one and a half inch vacuum hose is coming apart.
Is there available a repair part for this? I hate to buy an entire new hose.

Yes I did find the replacement part at poolcenter.com but the problem was that the minimum order is $10.00 and this part is $7.97.
So I ordered something else that I did not need and instead of a 1 and a half inch swivel end, I received a 1 and a quarter non-swivel end.
Returned the part and am still waiting for the correct part after almost a month.
Will never do business with http://www.poolcenter.com again.

Did you ever get the right part?

I ordered both ends from them, and got both ends, but no instructions.

They have female thread. I don't know if I'm just supposed to screw them on, or seal with silicone? One post elsewhere said that repair couplers (double male thread) are to be used with PVC cement.

Anybody know?
