I, on the other hand, need an idea about my clear GREEN water. It happens after filling and usually goes away in 24 hours, but this time, for some reason, is ongoing several days with no end in site. Any idea about this? ..it almost looks ok, except light, clear green.

New Mexico, 18000k concrete in ground, 65 degrees, FC 3-5, TA 90, pH 7.3, CYA 30, Borate 40--everything chemically looks good.....

Went to the pool guy and got a quart of Bioguard Remedy metal magnet, 18 bucks. It is diphosphonic acid-based. Put it in, started circulating, and the water was blue and clear as could be in two hours. Just wish there was a cheaper substitute, alas, pool guy wins again.
