well i want to use my old adove ground pool vac (which is a zodiac ranger) in my new in ground pool ....but it does'nt like the deep end ...and ideas ???????? i think maybe that the hose is too boyaunt to go deep !!!

I suspect you're right about the bouyancy. You could try and weight the hose down in the middle to see if that would help. You may have to play with it a bit to get it to work.
