We have been using the same floodlight on two different pools since 1946 (before I was born). It came off the airfield at Fort McClellan in Alabama and was decommissioned the same time my father was. He decided to haul it home to NJ. Big old 500 watt mogul base bulb with 16" lens and cast iron base. Bugs go to it but don't bother those around the pool. It probably pulls them away. (I don't have neighbors.)
