Return Jet

I wanted to experiment with the return jet and I can't move it. I've tried loosening it but I can't get the wrench around it. I guess I need a bigger wrench. Any suggestions as to what kind? When I do finally get it should the it be so tight that I cannot move the eye?
Thanks!

You want a strap wrench. They have a strap, often rubber or heavy cloth, that wraps around the fitting and lets you apply some leverage.

Older eyeball fittings often become jammed. Silicone lubricant, as frustratedpoolmom suggested will take care of it once you can get it apart. No mater what you do, it will be a little difficult to move. You want it to stay in place when you have it where you want it, so there needs to be some friction.
