Motor Humss- Did I just killed it?

The motor started Humming after a heavy rain and turning it on... left it on for like 7-8 seconds and saw some smoke coming from the front of the motor where it attaches to the housing and water was boiling bubbles in the housing ouch! did I just killed it or can I try replacing the capacitor and spinning the impeller shaft?? thanks guys

Smoking the front suggests rotor or stator coils are shorted. Motor time. Sorry.
