Closing Pool with seperate raised spa

Hi - i live in the north and for the first time want to close both by inground pool and seperate spa that use the same filter/pump/heater. My problem is that the spa is raised about 12" above the spa. Do I drain the spa? and if not how do I keep the lines from the spa free of water? Any help is welcome, thanks

Welcome to TFP!!

The different heights of the pool and spa don't really matter.

What you want to do is evacuate the water from the lines and plug them off so that no water can reenter them (adding antifreeze is also a good idea  , but not always practical :( )

If you tell us a little more about your pool/ set up, we can, and will, give more specific advice :goodjob:
