    Fred Meyer "Shock" Pricing.

This has got to be the biggest rip-off ever.

32 ounces of "shock" for $6.99. The shock is 5.25% BLEACH. Heck, I can get 2 182 ounce bottles of bleach at COSTCO for $5.59.

go over to their bleach, 96oz.of 6% for $1.29 in Seattle.

I say its the manufacturer of that cr@p that is to blame.

Who makes it? I can't see from your photo.
I consider myself very lucky I found this site before the pool store found me-pool owner since Nov 2008- Stunningly clear 17,000 gal fiberglass pool, thanks to this site, installed in 1982-24" 3.1sq. ft sta-rite sand filter, 250# new sand -1 hp sta-rite dura glass pump-TF-100

The first photo shows the brand name is Spa-Kem, which a quick google shows is made by Chem Lab Products Inc. (didn't bother to see if it's owned by some other corporate parent).

I have to say, using 12.5% LC in a spa means measuring miniscule quantities, on the order of 20ml. But still, this is a ripoff.
