I'm so glad I found this forum, been throwing money away all this summer in pool stores until now. My pool was either cloudy or with algea that I could not get rid off, until I started using bleach, I'm happy to say my pool is now crystal clear and love it. Is now a pleasure to have a pool! 
There aren't many around here though. I swear, most of the pools I see in my neck of the woods are green right about now. eck
