    Hydromatic cartridge filters

Anyone know anything about these cartridge filters? As far as I can tell, they are manufactured by the same company that makes Pentair. What, if any, problems would I need to watch for, especially at this price? They also seem to be called Sparco Hydromatic or just Hydro. ... /sale.html

There really isn't much to cartridge filters, the only thing that can really break on them is the o-ring and maybe the drain plugs. So basically what I would watch out for is the price of the replacement filtering element, price and availability of replacement parts like o-rings etc. That's basically it I'd say. If you like the price go for it.
