    A different kind of dumpster diving

    Have you heard about these pools? Refurbished dumpsters in Brooklyn, NY.

    Check out this blog and this article in the NY Times.

    They clean up the dumpsters, line them with what appears to be a large tarpaulin, install AGP filtration systems and fill them with 18,000 gallons of water. They set them up in abandoned or underused strip malls.

    That's great! Reminds of the pool made from a shipping container.
