Hayward Power-Flo LX pump rebuild questions

Hi,
Went to fire the pump up this year and nothing...no hum, nothing. the motor spins freely..I have the motor cover off and looking for pictures (electrically challenged) of what is what and how to test. Reading I've done thus far indicates perhaps it's the capacitor, but not sure what that is or how to test...

Thoughts, wisdom, and advice please (and pictures even better).

Someone who knows about electric pumps will chime in shortly ....
Have you back tracked on all your circuit breakers, GFCI plugs etc ?
