Pressure

Hey everyone...

I just had a company install a solar panel system on my roof and is hooked into my auqalink.

What i have noticed is when the solar kicks on the pressure jumps about 10lbs on the guage. Is this normal?

The pressure is normally around 18lbs and goes up close to 30.

With the increased head (more plumbing the water has to go through), and the trip up to the roof, Yes, you will have increased pressure, and this is normal.

5 to 10 pound increase is normal. perhaps a bit higher if it is an exceptionally long run to the panels.
