Had my water tested and was told that my clorine levels were too high and that I should purchase some expensive instant conditioner. Since I did not like the sales person, I did not buy it.
Any recommendations on how to adjust (lower) the clorine level?

How high was it. Most pool stores go with the recommendation that 2.5-3.0 FC is normal. However, I let my kids swim when it is 7-8 or sometimes even 8-9 FC. How high did they say it was...because High to the poolstore my be normal to most of us.
