We are having trouble with our autocover closing properly. It is not stopping at the edge of the concrete. Instead it runs directly into it and then the red light flashes for a few moments. It also does this on the other end when opening. I was going to call the pool company for service, but wanted to check here to see if this is something we can adjust by ourselves to save $$$ on a service call. Thanks.

Yes the water level is good. Is this something I would need to call the service department to fix?
I'd call them to get their opinion. Does it look bowed? If their only solution is to replace the whole thing, it might be worth figuring out a way to bend it back a bit. Any chance you could post a picture of it?
sorry for the delay! The rail is not bent at all. My husband thinks it has something to do with the sensor and has no idea how to fix that, so I guess we'll have to call for service
