We have an above ground pool and are experiencing a problem with "sweat bees". Can anyone shed some light on how we can eliminate these pests?

They are ground nesting bees. If you can find their nest entrance, dust it with diazinon or Sevin. That will take care of them.
We just had the pool put in about a month ago so maybe it disturbed their nest. It is a saltwater system so maybe that is why they are attracted to it. We are constantly getting stung by them. Any suggestions on how to find where they are nesting?
