difference between IG and AG heaters?

    Hi all.

Been reading here for a bit and have a question....

What is the difference between a heater for IG's verses one for AG's. Last year was our first year with the pool and it never really got warm enough to be comfortable so we are taking the plunge so to speak.

Heaters we are looking at are:
    Sta Rite Max E Therm
    Pentair MasterTemp
    Lochinvar Energy Rite

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Inground kidney shaped pool, approx. 20,000 gallons. Deep end is 8-10 ft with a drastic slope.
    Pentair FNS Plus filter (DE)
    Spa that overflows into pool
    Manual vacuum, Pool blaster
