I have a newly re-plastered pool (Marcite? Gunite? Not sure which).. I read here that the PH could go up for a while after having it done. It generally goes from 7.5 to 7.8 every 3-4 days and I drop in acid to drop it back down to 7.5. Thats been going on for about a month now.. maybe a little longer. How long should I expect the PH to keep rising? My other #'s are stable and predictable.. TA about 100-120 depending on who tests it.

About 1 year. IT's quick to rise now, and it slows overtime, but it can still creep up - up to one year.
