Vinyl liner slippage

I finally got the chemistry right and started up my SWG. While the family and I were taken our first swim in the new pool that came along with the house, I noticed the liner was loose in one spot and that the ground felt a little mushy underneath. With a little pressure from my foot, the liner would slip a little and create small folds. Should I be worried or is this a common thing?

Is this an inground pool? Sounds like there might be a little water under the liner. Do you have a high water table/alot of recent rains? Is this spot in the floor or walls?

Definately sounds like ground water. Are you losing any water due to possible leaks? <just ruling it out>

I believe someone here will know about well points where you can pump the water out of the ground so you can prevent it in the future. I'm not sure how to do it though.
