    New Member with some questions

    Just wondering what to use to lower PH with a vinyl IG with SWG. Thanx

    Muriatic Acid. Follow the dosage on the Pool Calculator in my siggy!
    I'd bet you my bikini you'll never get TFP water from a pool store!

    The guy at the pool store told me muratic acid wasn't safe for a vinyl lined pool.I guess maybe cause he doesnt sell it

    You want to add it by pouring it slowly in front of a return jet with the pump on, so it will distribute fairly quickly. It can damage the liner if you just dump it in and it doesn't distribute right away.
