Just had a new liner installed, and the installed used a thin red tape to tape the seams... Not duct tape. I'm wondering if that will leach through the liner and stain it. Any experiences with this? Thanks so much for your help.

there was a recent study done that showed that cheap duct tape / silver tape (for example duct tape from the dollar store) uses an adhesive that will eventually attack the vinyl and shows through the vinyl.
