I replaced my Jacuzzi SLR 1.5 hp pump with the same model exactly 5 years ago. Once again it has died. Not sure if it is repairable. There is some sound coming from it but no water moving thru it.
Do I have to get another Jacuzzi SLR pump? Should I be satisfied with the 5 year life span on these? Or is there another brand/model that will give me a little more bang for my buck.
I have a 24 foot round above ground pool - estimate 13,000 gallons. I also have a Jacuzzi 190 Laser sand filter. This filter was last replaced in 2003. The filter seems to be in decent shape.
