    borates too high?

    i just got my SWG and decided to add borates too. i tested yesterday, and it looks like my borates are at 80. sometimes i don't read the color thing too well, but i had my son check it out for me. he matched it to 80 too. he had no idea what i was going for.

    is this going to be too high?

    80 is fine as long as you balanced the pH accordingly. Just means you'll have more time before your next addition!

    80 is actually the recommended level for baquacil pools so you are fine.
