This weekend I will be adding a surface mount 500+ LED light to my pool. If memory serves me correct I believe I need to use a vulkem 45 SSL cauk to fill the hole that the wire is going to go through. My pool walls have been painted with an epoxy paint and will be repainted with an epoxy paint next season. But after reading the data sheet on the vulkem, I read that it is not designed for chlorinated water and now I am second guessing myself. What sealant/cauk would you recommend for sealing a hole that will be under water? The hole will be no bigger than 1/2" diameter. But also cannot be melted by epoxy paint. Thanks for your advice.
