Well I must admit I WAS a half lazy pool owner. Now I have been motivated by what I read here. I have learned that it really does not take much effort to have acrystal clear pool that is just made for swimming, seeing my 18 month old having the time of her life HELPS! Due to necessity i have had to perform all of my own maintenance, motors, pumps, polaris, DE filter rebuilding and replacing, quite invigerating I must say when you can look at your accomplishments and be proud. Thanks to all the members and their wisdom, hope I can contribute in the future! Hopefully I will have some pictures of our pride and joy soon.
