We have a 12.5x21.5 oval onground pool. Would we buy a winter cover slightly larger or smaller? The choices are 12x24, 13x20, 13x24. Also have a 4' extra allowance so would going smaller work? Don't mind going larger though. This would not be a rigid cover. Thanks...

Are you looking at a solar cover? A little smaller is fine. Saves some money and some cutting.

I always go bigger. That way you don't have to be perfect with the orientation along the long dimension. I always buy a cover for 18x34 but I have a 16x32. It's just easier to put on.
