CYA testing clarification

When testing for CYA, my TF-100 kit states to mix and "WAIT" 30 seconds, then mix again.

However, I see posts and videos that state to "MIX" for 30 seconds.

I have done both methods and I see no difference. I may be splitting hairs here, but is one method the correct method, or does it truly matter?

I usually shake and then wait 5 minutes and shake again then test.

This is correct.

The Taylor instructions say to mix for 30 seconds, so that is why videos you see also say that. In my opinion, either works. I shake mine for 30 seconds-ish

I've done it both ways and it didn't seem to make a difference in my tests. Just curious. Tnx
