NEW BUILD. TEXAS - bubblers, water features, perimeter overflow spas?

Hi everyone!

We are talking with builders and looking to build a geometric design pool -- with large perimeter overflow spa, large tanning shelf (10x8), sheer descents, bubblers on shelf, laminars, etc. There are just so many details with building this! Its definitely hard for us since we haven't ever had a pool before and don't know what is practical.

Questions --
What is your experience with bubblers in more than 6" of water? Don't shoot up well?
Is it too shallow to have less than 6" of water on tanning shelf with ledge loungers?
Any negative experiences with the perimeter overflow spas?

Id love to hear your input. Thank you!

From what I've seen here 6" or less is pretty shallow for a sun shelf. Most bubblers are rated for up to 9" water depth and can perform beautifully at that depth if they are on their own pump. Not sure once you get over 9" tho.
